IpAuctions® Inc. will auction 10 unique yacht designs created by famed luxury yacht designer Tom Fexas currently owned by his estate. These patented designs offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a piece of boating history and craft a yacht from a choice of 10 individual Fexas designs never before seen in the world.
The 10 copyrighted designs offered for sale by Fexas’ estate and IpAuctions, Inc. include Outboard Profile and General Arrangement for yachts ranging in size from 65 feet to 145 feet. Each design includes originals hand drawn by Tom Fexas, certificate of authenticity, artistic rendering, copyright and a one-time use licensing agreement. Minimum bids begin at $12,500 per design. Financing is available from the owner. Yacht builders are invited to bid, as are yacht owners or potential owners in search of never-before-seen designs by maverick yacht designer Tom Fexas.
The most important aspect of this purchase is the right to use Tom Fexas’ name in the boat as a brand. Each purchase includes five hours of consultation with the Fexas design staff to finalize the hull design to meet the targeted usage requirements.
