Auction Tea Prices Fall

African tea prices fell 2.7 percent at auction in Mombasa, Kenya. The average price dropped to $2.20 a kilogram at the Oct. 21-22 auction, from $2.28 a week earlier.
Sri Lanka tea auctions also had a serious slump last week with low grown tea sales dropping by over 50 %.
