eBid 50% off sale
Published October 14th, 2008
eBid.net has halved its Seller+ lifetime subscription fee giving the first 20,000 new subscribers zero listing and zero final value fees on their auctions for life for only $50 as part of an offer to celebrate their US launch and double digit growth.
Says eBid co-founder and partner, Mark Wilkinson: “This offer is our way of thanking our US customers who are joining us in record numbers. By slashing our one-off lifetime subscription fee we will help sellers generate extra needed income during this difficult economic downturn and buyers find even better bargains as they continue to tighten their purse strings and look for heavily discounted or second hand necessity items.”
With over 1.5 million listings in September and a substantial and consistent stream of new sign ups daily, eBid is placed second only to eBay in person to person online auctions in the US. For the past quarter revenues have grown 45% month on month predominately by attracting disgruntled eBay customers indicating a correlation between eBay policy changes and a surge in new listings to eBid.
