eBay Ireland has appointed Gareth Davis as new Managing Director. He joins eBay.ie from management consultants McKinsey & Co, New Jersey, where he worked as an Engagement Manager, leading a number of business strategy and implementation projects for companies across the consumer goods, healthcare, travel & logistics, food & beverage and private equity industries.

Davis takes over this role from John McElligott, who moves to a another position within eBay.
