Safety Harbor Kids Team Up With Auctionwire

Los Angeles, CA, – Winning bidders will have the opportunity to meet with Jeremy Piven (Entourage, Smoking Aces, Old School) and actor Boo Boo Stewart (formerly of Disney’s T-Squad) in a celebrity-style Anderson’s mobile estates trailer. In addition to the celebrity meet and greets other unique items up for auction include: a guitar personally signed by Bonnie Raitt; items from Carlos Santana, Tom Petty, the Cast of Entourage, Dame Julie Andrews, Inara George, the band Little Feat; and much more. The auction is being produced in partnership with Safety Harbor Kids – a charity that benefits homeless kids and orphans. Supporters, collectors and fans can bid online at www.auctionwire.com. The auction begins tonight at 9 p.m. PST. Bidders can also visit the charity social network site GivingRoom.com to connect up with fans, supporters and celebrities.
In conjunction with the auction, Safety Harbor Kids’ Malibu Community Picnic and Concert by the Sea will take place on August 24th, 2008 at the Malibu Bluffs Park starting at 11 a.m. The community picnic will run from 11a.m – 4 p.m. and the Concert will run from 4p.m – 8p.m. Exciting activities will include a pie eating contest, music by Boo Boo Stewart, circus performers, talent show and much more! The evening will feature a benefit concert with a live performance by Inara George of the Bird and the Bee, followed by a mesmerizing guitar duet with the renowned Fred Tackett and Paul Barrere of Little Feat. The evening’s last performance will be by Andy Vargas, lead singer for Carlos Santana and Jeremy Piven. The charity event will be one that can be enjoyed by both kids and adults, with beautiful music, great ambience, strong energy, and a picture perfect view of the Malibu coastline. Advance tickets are $15 and admission at the door will be $20.
