Wine Auctions Exceed $66 Million

More than $66 million worth of fine and rare wine went on the auction block in the second quarter of 2008, a 23 percent increase over the amount sold in the same period last year. Wine Spectator’s auction price database tracked more than 11,000 collectible wines that were sold both in the first and second quarters of 2008. www.winespectator.com
