India 3G auction

Two months ago, telecom minister A Raja had promised to announce 3G guidelines by June. It now appears unlikely that Raja will be able to extract a quick decision from PM on 3G before the next week or so. Senior government officials have confirmed it’s unlikly that 3G spectrum auctions taking place before November or December.
