Protest planned for Thorp dog auction

On Wednesday over 200 dogs will be put on the auction block near Thorp and once again a protest is planned.
Chuck Wegner, Clark County Humane Society’s animal shelter manager, said the Horst Stables Auction Company in Thorp has held about five of these auctions, and they’re becoming more common.
