Arie Van Breems Joins Bonhams Amsterdam Office

Bonhams has appointed a new specialist to complement its existing team in Amsterdam. Arie van Harwegen den Breems takes on the role of picture valuer in the Amsterdam Office.

A US national, Arie moved to the Netherlands in 1994 to work for Glerum Auctioneers in The Hague where he specialised in Old Master Paintings and Marine Art. He then joined a leading Dutch dealer as Director of Acquisitions where he worked for six years, specialising in 19th Century paintings.

Bonhams Amsterdam Representative, Saskia Magnin says: “We are delighted that Arie has joined us, he comes with a wealth of experience and will significantly strengthen our team here in Amsterdam.”
