KAMPALA City Council (KCC) is to auction lock-ups, stalls and shops in Nakawa Market, whose allocatees failed to complete payments.

The senior principal assistant town clerk, David Mulambuzi, said in notices on February 20 that as a result of non-payments, the market had remained incomplete, costing the council revenue.

Mulambuzi explained the defaulters should complete payment within 14 days or else KCC would repossess the facilities and auction them to recover its money.
