The auctions will take place at the Jordaens premises, Van Peborghlei 13 b, 2640 Mortsel
A large collection of art nouveau, art deco and modern cameo glass, glass and crystal by Artyse, Gallé, Daum, Legras, De Feure, d’Argental, Walter, Muller Frères, P. Jost, Baccarat, Val-St-Lambert, Santos, Murano and a collection of Swarovski figures in their original boxes, some rare pieces no longer in production. A collectioneur’s paradise as it were…
VSL crystal glass services etc. may serve your table. And tables will be found in this auction as well: old and period oak, walnut and mahogany furniture.
Quite a few very nice paintings are available (P. Gilis, J. Van Leemputten, L. Robbe, A. Claeys, F. Ros, V. Dooms, Miodrag, G. Van Puyenbroeck…), as are drawings (E. Verboeckhoven, L. Robbe, A.Geudens, F. Masereel,…) and prints (K. Peiser, P. Paulus, Folon, B.
Charoy…). Sculptures (G. De Vreese, J. de Roncour, M. Charny :
“Mme Vigée Le Brun et sa Fille”, after Elisabeth Vigée Le
Brun,…). Silver and silver plate (Sterling and 800 ‰,
Wiskemann, Delheid, Christofle…). Brass and pewter. Chandeleers in guilt bronze (19th century), crystal etc. Oriental rugs and carpets. Clocks and pendulums. Comic strips and related (Suske en Wiske, Kuifje en het Geheim van de Eenhoorn from 1946, an original Tintin en Amérique etc.) will probably be more to the taste of French and Flemish speaking customers.
A Welsch doll in it’s carriage or a very large nickelodeon from a Brussels pub around 1900, marked E. Mazzoletti à Bruxelles will find more international acclaim. A HMV record player doesn’t need as much space as the latter.
There’s a lot more, like Ming terra cotta statues and XIXth century ivory and jade carvings, post cards rom the 1900s, but let’s just mention the important lot of old and modern jewellery by order of the Ministry of Finances in Antwerp. White and yellow gold, set with precious stones. Fantasy jewellery. Etc. etc. To be sold at any bid.
