River Hills Country Club Auction

Published February 3rd, 2008

The River Hills Country Club off Ridgewood Road auctioned off loads of old items, with plans to demolish the old building next week. The original clubhouse is more than 40 years old, but it’s now been replaced with a new clubhouse.

Manager Barney Chadwick says old furniture is being replaced with new, and 14,000 square feet is being replaced with 23,000 square feet. “This old building is acting as a huge shield,” says General Manager Barney Chadwick. “No one, when you’re driving on Ridgewood or Lakeland, can really realize what we’ve done back here.”
