Thai rice the cheapest option at RP auction

Trading firm L&G International offered the lowest price of $434 per ton at a Philippine rice auction on Tuesday, government officials said.
The company offered 30,000 tons of Thai rice for delivery in February and March, they said. It also offered another 20,000 tons at $441 per ton for delivery in April. All prices included cost and freight.
The auction, conducted by the state National Food Authority (NFA), is for a total of 550,000 tons of rice
