Thousands raised at Denver Stock Show Auction

Published January 26th, 2008

Thousands of dollars in scholarship money was raised Friday night during the annual Junior Livestock Auction.

The owner of the Grand Champion Hog pulled out of the competition an hour before the competition, so Reserve Grand Champion “Jamie” was named the Grand Champion. The Stock Show would not say Friday night why the hog was pulled out of the competition.

Timnath Land and Cattle Company purchased Jamie for $50,000.
