Leonard Report Outstanding January Auction

Leonard Auction began the year on a high note with a fantastic January auction. The auction was held at January 19, 2008 at the Leonard Auction House in Addison, Illinois (25 miles west of Chicago). The auction featured a wonderful assortment of antiques, collectibles and furniture from estates and consignments as well as a large collection of coins and currency.
The auction was well attended by local collectors and dealers, as well as many eBay Live and phone bidders. In all, more than 350 bidders were registered for the auction.
Highlights of the sale include a 1922 “Plain” Lincoln Cent that sold for $590, a World War II German Helmet that sold for $460, a woodcut by Charles Turzak that sold for $300 and two Dali lithographs that sold for $825 and $800.
The next auction at the Leonard Auction House will be held at 10am CST on February 16, 2008. The sale will again contain Antiques, Collectibles and Furniture with a wonderful collection of Books and Paper to be sold as well. Consignments for this sale are still being accepted through February 1st.
