Telangana Rashtra Samiti legislator T. Harish Rao has demanded that the Government release a white paper on the funds mobilised from lands auctioned by Hyderabad Urban Development Authority and the way they were being spent.

Alleging that the Government had diverted Rs. 3,134 crore raised through land auctions for other regions in violation of the stipulations that the proceedings of land auction should be spent in the areas falling under the jurisdiction of HUDA. The Government should forthwith stop auction of lands in Telangana.
