Limited demand at Coimbatore tea auctions

The total offerings at the Coimbatore Tea Trade Association crossed the 5 lakh kg mark, with leaf grades accounting for 1.94 lakh kg and the balance of the dust.
There was fair demand for the orthodox leaf. CIS shippers operated with fair strength. Internal demand was limited on wiry sorts. Prices for the high growns ruled steady, others irregular with quality.
There was limited quantity of the orthodox dust on offer and these sold around last levels.
