A student has put herself up for auction on eBay – to raise money for a charity expedition to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.
Leah Levin-Martin, 18, who appears on the website clad only in black underwear, wants people to bid for a date with her to raise money for ChildReach International, which funds health and educational projects abroad.
With a group of fellow international development students at The University of East London, Leah will climb the mountain and help with relief projects – but she needs to raise between £1,000 and £2,000 for the trip and £1,000 for the charity. Leah, from Castillon Road, Catford, said: “It’s going to be fun. I love meeting new people and I just see it as raising money for charity.I’m a humanitarian at heart.
“I do know the dangers but I’m also a bit of a risk taker.”
