Pink Horsebox raises cash for charity
Published November 12th, 2007
A brest cancer charity has raised more than £6,000 after Europe’s biggest trailer maker, Ifor Williams Trailers, donated a bright pink horsebox to Breast Cancer Care.
After being unveiled at the Horse of the Year Show, the horsebox attracted a flood of bids from all over the UK – and beyond.
The winning bid was lodged via email by holiday company boss John Potter, from Norfolk.
The event was held as part of the organisation’s annual In the Pink campaign, designed to raise funds and awareness.
The pink trailer is unique and attracted a premium price – this type of horsebox normally sells for just over £4,000.
