Two guns said to have belonged to Mexican revolutionary Pancho Villa will be auctioned off this weekend at an Old West-themed auction in Fredericksburg.

Late 19th-century guns and Western memorabilia, mostly from Texas and Oklahoma, will be for sale.

The two-day auction, by San Antonio-based auctioneer Randall Hill, includes about 1,000 items, ranging from rare Western art and old court documents to antique spurs and solid silver law enforcement badges. Tom Burks, the auction sale manager, said he expects 200 to 400 people to attend.

The auction will be held Saturday and Sunday in the Fredericksburg Event Center, 224 RM 2093, Tivydale Road.

The floor opens each day at 10 a.m. A public viewing will be held from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. today.
