Cardiff City manager Dave Jones is being sold for more than £200,000 on eBay by a frustrated fan.

The manager, who led the Bluebirds to the Championship summit last year, has recently started to fall out of favour with some sections of the Ninian Park faithful and now fans’ message board regular Andrew Chinnock, who goes under the name of Eric the Half a Bee, is using the internet auction site to try to get rid of him.

The auction, which started at a penny, has received 35 bids since 8.30pm on Wednesday and the bidding is currently up to £200,100.
Bidding is due to close next Wednesday at 8pm.

A spokesman for Cardiff City Football Club admitted that they had seen the item but refused to comment on it.
