North Carolina ferry offered for sale on eBay

The state is offering an unused ferry boat for sale on eBay.
The boat is being sold by the state’s surplus property office at a starting bid of $200,000. Bids closing Monday.
The N.C. ferry was built to transport Outer Banks school children across Currituck Sound from Corolla to the mainland. Officials say the ferry doesn’t meet the state’s needs.
