Port St. Lucie to auction off surplus items

The City of Port St. Lucie will sell its surplus and seized equipment in an auction at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 at the city’s Public Works compound.
The auction will include equipment such as an 80-kilowatt generator, a 14-foot aluminum boat, trucks, mowers, trailers, SUVs and cars. Other items include office equipment, furniture, computers and more.
The auction will begin at 10 a.m., but gates are open at 9 a.m. to allow for inspection. It will be run by Karlin Daniel Camp; Associates Inc., a professional auctioneering firm.
The firm will accept payment only by cash, a cashier’s check or a check with a bank letter of guarantee. Payment must be made in full. Vehicles and heavy equipment require a $500 cash deposit at time of bidding. Buyers must remove items from city property by Sept. 17. Auctioneer Karlin Daniel works with the city every year to sell surplus property to the public. The next auction is set for Saturday, Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. at the Public Works compound, 450 S.W. Thornhill Drive.
