Period Co Kerry Mansion makes 2m euro

A mansion on 54ac outside Cahirsiveen, Co Kerry, was sold at auction for €2.35m.
Building supplies company, MF Quirke and Sons Ltd brought Villa Nouva at Cloghanelineghan, Cahirciveen, which was sold by Iveragh co-op mart in one lot.
Bidding opened at €1.3m and rose in €50,000 bids from there on out, finally being sold by auctioneer Mike Kissane’s for the disclosed price.
Villa Nouva was built in 1828 and the two-storey mansion is set in about 1ha of mature woodland with walled gardens.
