UK Debt Management Office confirms schedule of 9 gilt auctions for Oct-Dec

The UK’s Debt Management Office confirmed it will hold nine gilt auctions in the third quarter this year and published the dates.
The auctions will be held as follows:
- October 2: a new conventional gilt maturing on Dec. 7, 2030 – October 10: 1 7/8 pct index-linked Treasury gilt maturing 2022 – October 24: 1 1/8 pct index-linked Treasury gilt maturing 2037 – November 1: 5.00 pct Treasury gilt maturing 2018 – November 6: conventional gilt maturing on Dec. 7, 2030 – November 20: a new index-linked gilt maturing on Nov. 22, 2047 – November 28: 4.50 pct Treasury gilt maturing 2042 – December 4: 5.25 pct Treasury gilt maturing 2012 – December 12: 1 7/8 pct index-linked Treasury gilt maturing 2022
The new conventional gilt maturing on Dec. 7, 2030 will pay a short first dividend on Dec. 7, 2007. The new index-linked gilt maturing on Nov. 22, 2047 will pay a long first dividend on May 22, 2008. carlo.piovano@thomson.com cp/cp/jlc
