Minnesota Auctioneer Wins State Fair Bid Calling

Members of the Wisconsin Auctioneers Association were present to participate in the annual bid-callers competition, which was won by Rod Johnson of Johnson Auctioneering in Cannon Falls, Minnesota.
Rod’s business specializes in charity and fundraising auctions, as well as real estate. He was Wisconsin’s 2006 Novice of the Year in the same competition, and Reserve Champion Auctioneer for the state of Wisconsin last year. In 2007, he was named Minnesota’s State Champion Auctioneer. And he is “Voice of the Minnesota Timberwolves,” where he serves as the team’s public address announcer.
Rod is a licensed auctioneer in both Minnesota and Wisconsin, and he is also a licensed Real Estate Agent with Cannon Realty.
