A California bankruptcy judge said private equity firm Marlin Equity Partners LLC can buy Veg-O-Matic seller Ronco Corp. for as little as $6 million in cash, subject to higher bids at auction.

Judge Mund of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court on Friday gave the nod to the Los Angeles buyout firm’s lead bid, which includes $10 million cash plus the assumption of certain liabilities, for Ronco’s assets.
