$4.5m in Dubai number plate auction

A number plate bearing F1000 fetched around $226,000 in a Dubai auction. The Roads and Transport Authority sold more than 100 specialty number plates for $4.5m on Saturday. Plates bearing three, four and five digits were put up for sale.
