Christie’s will hold its third round of Middle East auctions in Dubai in October and November this year.

A sale of international modern and contemporary art will take place Oct. 31 followed by a contemporary jewels and watches auction Nov. 1, Christie’s said in an e-mailed statement today.

Dubai has become the Middle East’s de facto art-market hub, having been chosen by Christie’s as its regional base, and after hosting the first DIFC Gulf Art Fair in March.
