McCartneys Livestock Auctioneers, recently welcomed a group of Swedish farmers to their Ludlow livestock market. The objective of their trip was to gain an insight into the UK agriculture sector and look at best practice.

The group were given a tour of the market and watched the auction of cattle and sheep.

The farmers are members of a large co-operative called Sodra Alvsborgs Husdjur, which offers advice, education and agricultural services to mainly beef and also some milk producers in Sweden. herefordtimes.com
