Art auctioneer Sotheby’s said Wednesday its board elected John M. Angelo and Diana L. Taylor as directors.

Also Wednesday, Sotheby’s said Director Steven B. Dodge will not stand for re-election at the May 7 annual meeting.

Angelo, 65, is co-founder and chief executive of Angelo, Gordon & Co., a privately held investment adviser.

Taylor, 52, recently joined private investment firm Wolfensohn & Company LLC, after serving as the superintendent of banks of the State of New York. She was appointed to the position by former New York Governor George Pataki in 2003.
