The sale of six forfeited vehicles and a speaker system brought in $8,350 for the police department’s law enforcement trust fund.
The highest-selling vehicle was a 2006 Ford Fusion that went for $7,300, and the biggest bargain was a Yamaha ATV that sold for $225, Officer Trautman said.
In addition to the usual cars, pickup trucks, and vans, yesterday’s sale also included an air compressor, go-carts, boats, and a motorhome: a 1977 Dodge model that went for $700, Officer Trautman said.
The next auction is being planned for sometime in May, the officer said.
