eBay results improve

EBay increased activity in its ecommerce markets in the final months of last year, ending a slide that had led to doubts about the long-term health of its core business, according to results released on Wednesday.
However, the world’s biggest e-commerce company also admitted that its controversial acquisition of internet telephone service Skype had yet to produce the results promised at the time of the deal.
