Sydney property auction sales slow
Published December 30th, 2006
Only 48 per cent of the properties offered for auction in Sydney on the weekend were sold.
This puts Sydney’s auction results in line with the national clearance rates, which have decreased in recent months. However, the median price was $615,500 compared to a median of $570,000 three months ago.
Slightly over a third of the 324 properties were sold at auction, ranging from a $171,000 house in Tregear in the western suburbs to a $6.8m house in Vaucluse.
