Useful Tool for eBay Shoppers this Holiday Season

Published December 7th, 2006

Bargain-hunters will benefit from a new tool when shopping online this holiday season.

The Misspelled Auction Toolbar is free to download at http://www.moneybyauction.com/tool.

The toolbar helps buyers find misspelled eBay auctions through a simple search function, according to Terry Thomas of Kelowna, B.C., owner of MoneyByAuction.com.

“Countless eBay auctions are listed daily for valuable items, which sell for next to nothing. Why? Because they contain spelling mistakes,” said On Ouchs of Vernon, B.C., who helped develop the search script for the toolbar. “These auctions do not appear in the regular search results due to the errors and, because of that, fewer people bid on them.”

Searches for popular and expensive brand name items, such as Motorola, Louis Vuitton, PlayStation, will often reveal once-in-a-lifetime bargains, added Ouchs.
