Keeneland September Yearling Sale Starts Monday

Buyers from around the world are converging on Keeneland as it prepares to hold its 62nd annual September yearling aale, beginning Monday in Lexington.
Keeneland has cataloged a record 5,161 horses for the auction, which runs Sept. 11-25. No sale is conducted Friday, September 15. Sessions begin at 10:00 a.m. (EDT) daily.
“The world comes to Central Kentucky for Keeneland’s September yearling sale,” said Geoffrey Russell, Keeneland’s director of sales. “The September sale offers a quantity of quality – strength at every level of the market. So no matter what price range a buyer wants to play in, he will be satisfied. It is one stop shopping.”
