Christie’s first Dubai art auction

Christie’s inaugural auction in the Middle East – which takes place at 8 o’clock on May 24th 2006 at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, Dubai – will be led by an exciting, diverse and dynamic selection of international modern and contemporary works of art.
Offering a total of 128 examples from the Arab world, Iran, India, Pakistan and the West, this is the first sale of its kind to take place in the region and it therefore marks a significant milestone in the quest to assert the Middle East as a pivotal player in the international art market.
