UK Auction Info
One of John Lennon’s schoolbooks is about to be put up for auction, where it is expected to fetch up to £150,000.

The exercise book contains some of the earliest thoughts, drawings and poems of the music legend in 10 illustrated pages.

Bound in red paper and entitled My Anthology, it dates back to when the Beatle was just 12 years old.

One of the illustrations is of the walrus from Lewis Carroll’s poem The Walrus And The Carpenter.

The verse was later acknowledged by Lennon to have been the inspiration for the band’s 1967 song I Am The Walrus.
