Senator Scanlon defends reputation of auctioneers

Sligo Senator Eamonn Scanlon has defended the work practices of auctioneers, after they were criticised in the Senate this week.
Senator Shane Ross called auctioneers ‘cowboys’ because a housing development in Dublin last weekend increased in price by 28,000 in one day.
