eBay offers Brokeback money
Published March 4th, 2006
The auction site contains numerous listings for “Bank of Gyllenhaal”£20 notes. British bidders can make offers for the notes which contain images of one of the stars of the gay cowboy movie.
Bargain hunters can purchase the note, which is not legal tender, and have it cut to size in proportion to a real £20 one. It can then be laminated and even displayed on a black board.
So far there have been no bids on the auction which ends today.
Meanwhile another seller is offering Brokeback Mountain fridge magnets. The film is tipped for Oscar success at this Sunday’s ceremony.
