Ableauctions.com has announced that it will host, through its subsidiary iCollector.com, the Montefiore Auction event on March 9, 2006. This sale will include works from renowned artists such as Marc Chagall, Yechezkel Streichman, Moise Kisling, Avigdor Arikah, Reuven Rubin and many more. Featuring over 250 lots of modern day art, Montefiore is looking forward to a successful event with many high profile works expected to fetch hammer prices at the upper end of their estimate range.

Montefiore Auction House is situated in the heart of Tel Aviv. They reside in a recently refurbished early 20th century building which once served as home to the “Time for Art” Gallery.

The auction house holds several auctions a year showcasing both Israeli and international artworks, paintings, sculptures, photographs, graphic and paper art of past and present artists. Each auction is available through eBay live, therefore making the auction accessible for world wide participation.
