Vietnam’s first privately-owned auction made its debut in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho on Monday.
M.A.S Auction Service Co. has already signed two contracts to direct the auctioning of assets worth around VND40 billion (US$2.51 million) in all.
The company will organize the first customers conference in March and carry out auctions on the Internet starting from June, managing director Thieu Ngoc Tuyet said.
The company plans to open branches in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern beach city of Vung Tau.
