Record for calendar auction

A hotel owner has shelled out a world record amount for a wall calendar at an auction.
Stephen Winyard paid £15,000 for To Touch an Angels Wings’, a specially designed calendar at the event in Edinburgh at the weekend.
The calendar was designed for the Muir Maxwell Trust, an Edinburgh charity which provides practical support for children with severe epilepsy.
