EBay UK blames its users for fraud

The online auctioneer eBay has admitted that personal accounts are being hijacked by fraudsters, but claim it is the responsibility of eBay users themselves to prevent this.
Criminals are obtaining the secret passwords of eBay subscribers and using their sites to conduct bogus auctions for non existent goods.

eBay responds to alleged fraud complaints

Online auction site eBay has publicly responded to complaints of fraudulent auctions by user Alisher71, possibly a Naples resident. In the last 30 days, Alisher Mardonov and Shahnoza Khakimova allegedly listed over 1000 items on eBay, accepted payment, but never delivered the merchandise.
