Elton John to auction hat for aids charity

Sir Elton John is auctioning one of his favourite hats to raise cash for an AIDS charity.
The flamboyant singer has joined a group of generous celebrities who are selling their possessions to help fight the killer disease.The ‘Bid 2 Beat Aids’ auction will begin on internet auction site eBay on December 1 - which is world AIDS day.
The sale - which will raise money for the LIFEbeat charity - features up to 1,000 rare and autographed items from stars in music, film, theatre and television.
